Harman uses a specially developed algorithm to deliberately corrupt digital files, revealing the beauty of lost transmissions and altered imagery, and explores the interferences between painting and the digital. His compositions — often described as exploded paintings — appear corrupted differently to each viewer.
Arab Bank Switzerland announced its own digital art collection in 2022, describing its cultural engagement as a long-term endeavour rather than a reaction to a trend. The collection runs from crypto art and photography to generative and AI work, and from PFP to trash art — assembled, in the bank’s words, as a reflection of the digital art world today: complex, multiple, a hub of innovation reshaping the space. Works are shown within the bank and alongside its Digital Art Prize.
