Marfa, Texas · October 2025
sovrn.art · Pop-up exhibition
Nine independent artists curated by sovrn.art, the artist-led indie drop studio for sovereign artists.
Pindar Van Arman and Martin Lukas Ostachowski took nine Sovrn collections to Marfa for the weekend of Art Blocks Marfa Weekend, 16–19 October 2025. There was no gallery and no walls. The venue was the cloudpainter truck, parked outdoors and lit after dark — a rogue show running alongside the official programme rather than inside it.
The weekend also marked two years of Noctilucent Mementi, which had been released in October 2023.

A board propped above the tailgate carried the whole billing: cloudpainter presents a sovrn.art pop-up, the nine artists listed beneath it. The truck bed held the gallery — a pen plotter, two robot arms, a tower PC and a screen cycling the works — and the prints were made and signed there, in the open, as people watched.

Collectors of any of the nine featured collections could claim a free Marfa-themed print of that artist’s work. Each print was signed on the spot by the painting robot, in the artist’s own robotic signature.
